Return Deadline

All orders placed after October 29th, 2014 will have their return dates extended till January 7th, 2015. This only applies to items that are not classified as final sale. All items must be in the brand new condition they were received in, must not be worn, washed and have all clothing tags still attached.

Most orders will ship out within 1 business day of being placed. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. We do not deliver to APO/FPO addresses or PO boxes.

Returns

Every order, excluding Final Sale items, comes with a return shipping label to make sending items back easy. (This excludes orders being shipped to places outside of the United States.)

In order to be eligible for a refund, we must receive your return within 20 days from the date it arrived at your door.

The following items may not be returned:

  • Final Sale items
  • Items purchased for more than 49% off
  • Opened CDs
  • Soaps
  • Opened Items
  • Opened Liquid Containers (such as shampoo, perfume and body oils)
  • Damaged Goods
  • Items that have been washed
  • Items that do not have their original tags
  • Items that have been worn
  • Consumable Goods
  • Lingerie/Inner wear

Any returns that fall into the categories above will be returned to the customer. We will bill the customer $15.00 to compensate for shipping charges if a return falls into those categories.

If you purchased a Final Sale item and there was an error with your order, please contact orders@tags.com. We reply to most emails within 1 business day.

Want to return or exchange an item? Follow the steps below:

  • Fill out the return form provided in your package with the reason you are returning the item and the quantity being returned.
  • Send the item(s) you would like to return using the provided shipping label in your package.
  • Allow up to 5 business days from the day we receive your return for your refund to process.

Exchanges

The Fast Way:

If you are exchanging an item, return the item you want to exchange with the instructions above, and simply place another order for the different size or color you would like in exchange. This allows us to ship out your exchange quicker and gives you a better idea if we have what you want in stock.

The Not As Fast Way:

If you do not require your item to be exchanged as quickly as possible, we have a more traditional solution that does not require you to place a separate order. Simply call us at (877)-499-TAGS. Have your order number ready, and please tell the TAGS customer service representative that you would like to exchange your order. You will be provided with further instructions over the phone. Our phone hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM Pacific Standard Time.

We do not pay for return shipping for orders returned or exchanged from countries outside of the United States. If we have made an error on your order and you live outside of the United States, please email orders@tags.com with the subject "Error on *insert your order number*". In the body of the email explain the error that was caused with your order. We reply to most emails within 1 business day.

If you used a promotional code on your order that has expired since you received the item you want to exchange, please email us at orders@tags.com once you have shipped back your return. We will provide you with a new promotional code to place your new order.

International Orders

Trouble Placing An Order?

If you are getting an "AVS" error while trying to place an order going to a country outside of the United States, please pay with Google Checkout. You will see this option below the "Place Order With TAGS" button.

Placing your order with Google Checkout will take you away from the TAGS payment page and onto Google's website. Simply walk through the steps on their website and when your order is completed you will receive two email confirmations. One from Google Checkout and one from TAGS.

Please note that if you received an "AVS" error that you may see an authorization on your online banking statement. This will go away within 5 business days. It is an authorization because your credit card number was correct, but because your bank will not verify your billing address it was declined on our end. No money has been charged, nor can be charged on our end since it has been declined.

Any package that is refused and returned to sender (us) will be refunded with the cost of shipping deducted. If you were not billed for shipping upon checkout, we will deduct the actual shipping cost from your refund.

Orders

Cancelling an Order

If you would like to cancel your order, simply log into your account by either clicking "Account" at the top right hand side of every page on the website or by clicking here.

On your account page you will see a list of your past orders. On the right hand side of all orders that have not shipped yet, there is a "Cancel Order" button. Please allow a few seconds for your cancellation to process after clicking this button. If you do not see a "Cancel Order" button, it means your order is ready for shipment. We cannot cancel your order if it ready for shipment or has already shipped.

How to place an order:

Step 1: Choosing an item

TAGS is organized into categories to make navigating through pages as simple as possible. Every page on the website has a link to all of our main categories. Clicking any of the categories in the top navigation bar will take you to a page that contains all of the product in that category.

For example, if you choose 'Women' you will be taken to a page that displays all of the women's clothing that are available and the navigation on the left hand side of the page will provide you with sub categories relevant only to women.

On the right hand side of every side navigation bar are the products that are in those collections. For example, if you choose 'Tops' under the women's main category, the right hand side of the page will only display women's tops. The same for men if you choose 'Men' then 'Tops'.

Step 2: Adding something to your bag

So you found something you want, and you want to complete your purchase. First you must add this item to your shopping bag. Every page has an 'Add to Shopping Bag' button. When you choose a size, by clicking the size you would like, you can add this item to your shopping bag by clicking the button (pictured below). If your item does not come in multiple sizes, those options will not appear and you simply have to press the 'Add to Shopping Bag' button. Items that are out of stock will appear greyed out and have a line through them. Clicking any out of stock item will display a message saying the item you are selecting is out of stock.

Once you add an item to your shopping bag, you will be given the option to continue shopping or checkout. If you choose to checkout, this will take you to your shopping bag. Here you can view the items currently in your bag, update the quantity of items or remove items from your bag. If you wish to continue shopping, you can use the main navigation that is always at the top of the page to find another item to add to your shopping bag.

You can get back to your shopping bag by the shopping bag icon with a number inside of it at the top right hand corner of every page on the site. The number represents how many items are inside your bag.

Step 3: Proceeding to checkout.

Now that you have what you want to purchase in your shopping bag, it's time to checkout. On the right hand side of the shopping bag page you will see two options. One for returning customers, and one for new customers. If you have not shopped with us before or created an account, go ahead and click 'Checkout' under 'New Customers'.

There are 2 pages for checking out your order. The first asks for your email, your billing and shipping address and to create a password. After you've filled out the first page, click 'Continue to payment information' and you will be asked for your payment information.

Complete your purchase by pressing the 'Place order with TAGS' button on the right hand side of the page. You will receive a confirmation email once our server sees your order. For the convenince of our international customers and those who wish to use it, we also offer Google Wallet. If you would like to use Google Wallet, please click 'Pay With Google Wallet' rather than 'Place order with TAGS.'.
